IELTS Essay Topic Generation - Writing A Research Paper On Your TopicWhen I was researching for a subject for my IELTS essay topic, I wanted to come up with a topic that was not only interesting but was also a good reflection of my personality. This is important for IELTS to see because the more attention a topic gets, the more interesting it will be to the test taker.
When I went looking for topics for my IELTS essay topic, I did some research and found that there were a lot of opportunities out there. And I was not only looking for a subject matter that would hold my interest; I was also trying to find a topic that was related to me. I chose a topic that had nothing to do with religion or politics. Since I was very particular about what kind of topic I wanted for my IELTS essay, I went ahead and asked my friend to give me ideas. I chose one from his list and we started doing some research together. After a few hours of research and brainstorming, we came up with two subjects that had many similarities and the same general opinion on each. These two subjects were 'drug abuse'alcoholism'. The two subjects were so similar that it was easy to start a research paper on either topic, and then we just wrote a bit on both. Once the two topics were chosen, it was time to write a research paper for each topic. This was when we took the knowledge that we have been researching and put it into an IELTS topic. This article is going to discuss the research paper for the drug abuse and alcoholism topic. Drug Abuse: It's pretty obvious that this is a topic on which there is a lot of opinions on. According to the survey, the majority of IELTS teachers state that they believe drug abuse is an addiction. This may not be true. My research paper was the least influenced by the opinion of teachers. Alcoholism: Based on the topic, there is no real consensus on this topic. No one really knows what alcoholics actually are and what it means to be an alcoholic. I definitely believe in the theory that people with problems with alcohol do deserve some help and not let their problem get in the way of their social life. For me, I only had a few points that I covered in my research paper. Overall, the topic that I chose was much easier to write and came up with a few more interesting facts that I learned when writing my IELTS essay. I have two more topics I am working on now and I believe they will both have a lot of interesting things to say as well.
